45 Rpm Cufflinks

45 Rpm Cufflinks

The Spacer was originally designed to center a 45-RPM record single on the spindle of a record player. The 45-RPM was introduced in 1949 by RCA, and by the late 1950's it had taken over the 78 as the main format for popular music. At the same time, rock and roll was experiencing an explosion in popularity, thanks in part to the 45. The 45 continued to be the dominant format for rock and roll well into the 1960's. The next few years were considered to the early days of rock and roll; few knew that a small yellow piece of plastic would become an emblem of a time, a sound and a musical era. 45-RPM cufflink crafted with The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
